Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Volunteer
NCC CONNECTIONS drivers and home assistance providers are all neighbors. Everyone is background checked and trained. If you volunteer, you have the satisfaction of lending a hand to a neighbor when needed. Volunteers can:
-
Drive members to appointments, the Metro, worship, shopping or social events
-
Help with errands and minor home tasks
-
Offer friendly visits or calls to the homebound
-
Organize or maintain an interest group
-
Share knowledge and skills

A Grassroots Network for All
Founded by neighbors in 2016, NCC CONNECTIONS is one of Montgomery County's 30 independent "villages." Many are only for seniors. But NCC CONNECTIONS is multi-generational, reflecting the population of our community with many young families as well as empty nesters and seniors.

Membership
Membership dues for those who want services such as rides and home assistance are $50 a year per household.
A Sustaining Membership of $100 provides added support for our mission. All dues are for basic costs including required insurance. We have no paid staff.

Join the Private Listserv
Find help and share information on our free online listserv open only to verified residents. Swap equipment, recommend a plumber, sell something, or seek a teen to shovel snow.

Giving Support to Our Community
Our programs and services are made possible by generous gifts and in-kind contributions.
Gifts at all levels, from individuals, businesses and corporations are gratefully accepted and keep our annual full-service membership dues for services among the lowest in the county.
