Celebrate Spring with a woodland wildflower walk at Woodend. Bradley Simpson, Restoration Manager, will first guide us through the blooms throughout the formal gardens and then continue our walk into the forest and meadows. We will see bluebells, bloodroot, spring beauties, trout lily, wild ginger, celandine poppy, and more! Not a member? Join now to attend the event.
Bradley Simpson manages the restoration of Woodend’s natural habitats. He has conducted urban forest research in New York City and at Woodend, categorizing thousands of plants. He has a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland. He is working toward a Master’s degree to further his knowledge of urban forest ecology.
