Thomas Clark & Sons, Silver Spring, 301-608-0550.
Family owned and operated since 1891. Very efficient and reliable service, pleasant personnel. Provides 24 hour emergency repairs. Has branched out to do HVAC work as well.

Mario’s Lake Liberty, 8550 Connecticut, 301-986-0560, is at the southwest corner of Connecticut and Bradley. They have consistently done excellent work and often quite quickly. Down and across the street, Carroll Motor Fuels, 8505 Connecticut Avenue, 301-656-4526, is part of a local chain that acquired the area’s BP stations. Gas prices tend to be a little lower than Mario’s, but who knows?
